| PRESENTATION | Bordetella pertussis bacteria harvested from broth culture, washed, inactivated and presented in glycine buffer at alkaline pH. |
| PROTEIN CONCENTRATION | 2 – 5mg/ml as determined by Bradford assay (BioRad) using BSA as standard |
| INACTIVATION | By beta-propiolactone treatment. Absence of viable Bordetella pertussis is confirmed negative by absence of growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions. |

| STORAGE | Frozen (≤-70°C). Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided. |
