| SOURCE | The Borrelia afzelii organism (Strain PKo) is cultured in broth suspension. Washed harvested organisms are solubilised with detergent to produce a lipoprotein and cytoplasmic cylinder extract enriched with Outer Surface Proteins (OSP). |
| PRESENTATION | Presented in PBS buffer containing 1% N-octylglucoside. |
| PROTEIN CONCENTRATION | 1-5 mg/ml by Bradford (Biorad) assay using BSA as standard. |
| INACTIVATION | By detergent treatment. Confirmation by attempted growth under the original culture conditions. |
| PRESERVATIVE | None |
| STORAGE | -70°C (or lower). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
| APPLICATION NOTE | Suitable for ELISA, lateral flow and other solid phase formats. It is recommended that this antigen preparation is sonicated before use. |
