SOURCE Candida albicans (wild strain).
CULTURE SYSTEM Solid medium.
PRESENTATION Washed harvested organisms are disrupted and subjected to an extraction process. Antigen consists of cytoplasmic and cell wall components presented in an alkaline pH glycine buffer.
PROTEIN CONCENTRATION mg/ml by Bradford (Biorad) assay using BSA as standard.
INACTIVATION Disruption. Infectivity confirmed negative by absence of growth under original cell culture conditions.
PRESERVATIVE None
STORAGE Frozen (-70°C). Sonicate before use.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
