Type Results
Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis Shows one band corresponding to TG molecular weight of 660 kD. Under certain conditions, sub-unit TG can be observed at 330 kD.
Cellulose Acetate electrophoresis Shows one band with α1 -electrophoretic mobility
Protein determination by optical density using E280nm1cm, 0·1% = 1·04 >1mg/ml (dispensing solution)
Radial immunodiffusion Verifies optical density result
RECONSTITUTION Use of a phosphate buffer of pH >7·0 containing 0·15M NaCl is recommended
